2nd Grand Annual Retreat of Oasis Movement Core Community

The Annual Retreat was organized at Oasis Valleys from December 2 to 4, 2016. 91 guests from 6 generations of 80 year old veterans to 15 year old teenagers, came together from U.S., different parts of country and state.

Children Demonstrate Active Responsible Citizenship


120 children along with 30 youths came together to create awareness for the suppressed children in education system on December 19, 2016 in Vadodara. In the morning they performed street plays in different parts of the city on problems of Domestic Violence, Waste Management, Superstitions, Freedom of Choice, Pollution and Village Development. After which they conducted a survey on Corruption and Education System. They also conducted survey and signature campaigns on Discrimination. They conducted survey and performed skits on Consumerism. At noon, they rallied down from Gandhinagar Gruh to Sayaji Baug. In the afternoon, children and adults had a discussion on 'What is Freedom?' and the kind of freedom do children want.

Govt of Jammu & Kashmir Signs MoU for Oasis Programs


Oasis Jyotirdhar Abhiyaan commenced its partnership with  the Directorate, Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyaan (RMSA), Jammu and Kashmir in January 2017.
The program intends to cover 150 participants including Heads of Institutions, principals and senior teachers in 6 batches of 25 participants each. Oasis L3 Course is an ongoing program with handholding for 3-4 years covering a series of 3 workshops per year for each batch.
The objective is to empower these leaders as principle-centred role models & change-makers of community so as to influence positive culture building in the young school students in the state of J & K.
As part of the same, the first inaugural workshops were organized for one batch each at Jammu and Kashmir respectively in January 2017.
